Vinyl will adhere and last on many surfaces, as long as it is clean & reasonably smooth
The two cut vinyl products come in many colors in opaque, specialty, reflective, metallic & translucent films.
Cast Vinyl: This is most often used and recommended by JP SignDESIGN. It is rated to last 8 years but most often lasts much longer, even outside. Cast is 0.2mm thick and has very minimal shrinkage so its edges will not pull away from the surface.
Calendered Vinyl: Rated to last 1-7 years, but like cast, often lasts much longer. Due to the production process, it is thicker, 0.3-0.6 mm and more likely to shrink.
So, cast is used on more permanent jobs, where as, calendered is used on where longevity is not as important.
